On American Road

SOMEONE SAVE ME

I cry, I walk

I sleep, I sigh

I pray, I wait

I want, I try

To find myself

In a peaceful lot

To rest awhile

In a sunny spot

But life is hard

With my overload

I feel heavy

On American road

Where is home?

Who am I?

Someone save me

Hear my cry

Ueli Steck’s Eiger North Face Ascent in 2hrs 47mins

Monday, April 9th, 2012/4am EST~Deltona, Florida USA

Yesterday morning–Easter Sunday–my 24 year old son Thomas woke up and right away started talking enthusiastically about films he watched the night before on Mountaineering.  He went on and on and on re-telling unbelievable stories of men who have tried climbing Switzerland’s most dangerous peak–The Eiger–in the Alps.

Apparently over 60 people have died attempting it since the mid-1930′s and if you watch the video here below of the Swiss dude, Ueli Steck, who holds the world record for free climbing The Eiger in only 2 hours and 47 minutes, then you’ll understand why it’s so dangerous.  The monstrous thing rises over 13,000 feet straight up into the air and the peak is a razor’s edge!  The German’s nicknamed it “Mordwand”, literally “murder (ous) wall” – a pun on its correct title of Nordwand (North Wall).

Oh! The Swiss are so BAD ASS!  No wonder they’re stuck up….look at that!…look at him!….look at their land…their government…their PEACEFUL, WAR-FREE COUNTRY!…their Beautiful, super-human men! Be still my heart……

Dropping Like Flies

WALKING IN A CIRCLE OF MUCK

Round & round we go

Treading through the mire

Ever weary, lost our way

Minds driven by the liars

Who will free us

From the merry-go-round

Lost our souls

We want to be found

But we’re here on this cartwheel

Feet steeped in crud

Following each other

‘Til we spill our own blood

Dropping like flies

One-by-one we each fall

Heads pounding in pain

From our cups filled with gall

WORLD IN WINTER

The world seems dead

But it’s only sleeping

Just like in winter

When no life is creeping

For under the snow

Or deep within dens

Lies the promise of life

Cold that greening amends

Flowers & babies all ready

To burst from the womb

Of beasts & the prairies

People’s souls up from gloom

The anguish of prisoning

Deep within walls

Of man’s cruel inventions

Institutional halls

You are alive dear one!

Let it be told

God Himself is your refuge

To have and to hold

Matterhorn Sunrise Image From Travel Brochure

Right now it is 3:43 am in Central Florida, USA and I have been up already for an hour. I could hardly sleep last night because I am SO EXCITED about what GOD is doing for me! I feel like I am on the verge of MIRACLES!

So I got up at 2:45am, unable to lay there any longer, got my coffee and recorded a CINCH, telling you all about my newest, GLORIOUS plans. Yes! I AM SO EXCITED, you guys!
Listen to me about to pee-my-panties here:

AFTER ALL IS SAID & DONE

It’s still the peaks that matter

Peaks & rocks & clouds & air

Following sure footsteps

A steady pace to share

Gotta get up on that mountain

No pollution there-

No billboards, honks; no limits

Relieved of all my cares

So here I come, Dear Jagged one

To walk your trails once more

Smell your pines & sweet, fresh earth

Again my heart will soar

It’s there I’m like the eagle

Gliding above it all

Steady as the beautiful trees

Green, strong, fragrant & tall

HEALING GARDEN

God sings-

Through the love of a friend

God speaks-

In the silence

God paints-

In greens, browns & blues

God loves-

Through His providence

Whispering, whispering

Through thinnest of air

His ways drip into me

He’s fairer than fair

Somewhere we’ve forgotten

This loving, kind Lord

His right hand so valiant

Life from his loins poured

I’ll stand up and proclaim Him!

Declare that He’s real

Proof of puddin’s in eatin’

I feel as He feels!

So away with that dragon

Him and his dumb songs!

I’m carrying my weapon

Through this night, oh so long

Nay, darkness won’t harm me

Nor loose His firm grip

He is my Master Guard

I’m born from His hip

So silence shout on

And dear friends, still sing

For soon we’ll be getting

Bridegroom’s wedding ring!
