God’s Wife

IN THE BOOK OF LIFE

I dig my own hole

I weave my own web

Hatching snake eggs

I’m deader than dead

Where is salvation

Where is the door

Golden gateway to walk through

‘Stead of cry on this floor?

I know God is real

I love Him, I do

But where is the pathway

That leads to dawn’s dew?

Is purity the rite

Rite of passage to seek?

Scary thought to be humble

Quiet, honest and meek

‘Cuz people like that

Well, they get walked on

Guess it’s fear that restrains me

From being sweet fawn

I must muster the courage

To not be afraid

Have to fight to reach goodness

I’ve just got to be brave

And someday when He opens

The Lamb’s book of life

My name will be found there

‘Cuz I was God’s wife

  1. The concept of god is indeed a unique tapestry of thought.
I once called you my holy grail …
In many ways, you are god to me. As are the skies, the wonderful aroma of roses, and even
rock I just skipped on a pond.
You are welcome for my thoughts, thank you for being you, and sharing yourself with the world.
