People lookin’ & talkin’

Like a T.V. show

What happened to

Individuality & community

And humanity?

There’s so much

Uniformity & frivolity

And monstrosities

But where’s reality

In the midst of all the

Prosperity & travesties?

This is a call to return to

Humility & hospitality

Generosity, tranquility & spirituality

Forsaking the vanity

Of the things that are leading

to calamity

SUB-CONSCIENCE INPUT

A race with no finish line
That’s what we run
Nothing’s ever enough
The list never is done

We buy & we buy
‘Til junk runs out the front door
We shop ‘til we drop
And still we want more

What is it that drives
This mentality of ours
Pushed by what forces
The guys in the towers

Yeah, they push our buttons
They plug us in
Into their schemes
For money & sin

Mind-control air waves
Programs for greed
Not based upon goodness
Not driven by need

Choose you this day
Whom will you serve
Greed & idolatry
From God’s path you swerve

Or will you open your eyes
And cut evil cords
Start playing your music
Wielding spiritual sword

Spirits fly upon melodies
The good ones & bad
Take care what you listen to
Before you are had
